Terms of Service

The rules that apply when you use this website or send an enquiry through it.

Agreeing to these terms

By using macarthurtreeremoval.com.au, browsing its pages or submitting an enquiry through the form or the published phone number, you agree to the terms set out below. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

These terms should be read alongside our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy. Where the Disclaimer describes the referral arrangement in more detail, that description applies here too.

Last updated: August 2026.

1. What this website is

This is a referral website. Its function is to take enquiries about tree work in the Macarthur region and pass them to independent tree contractors who operate in that area.

The operator of this website does not perform tree work. It does not climb, cut, remove, prune, grind, chip or clear anything, and it does not author arborist reports or provide arboricultural advice.

Where the site uses words like "we", "our" or "us" in connection with a service, that is ordinary conversational phrasing and should be read as "we will put you in touch with a local contractor who does this".

2. Enquiries are not bookings

Submitting the form or telephoning does not create a contract for work, does not lock in a price, and does not guarantee that a contractor will accept the job or attend at any particular time.

An enquiry is a request to be connected. A job only exists once you and a contractor have agreed, directly with each other, on scope, price and timing.

3. Your agreement is with the contractor

Any contract for tree work is formed between you and the independent contractor, not with the operator of this website. That contract covers the quote, the scope, the price, payment terms, the timing, any warranty, and what happens if something goes wrong.

The operator of this website is not a party to it, does not supervise the work, does not control how it is carried out, and is not responsible for its outcome. Complaints, warranty claims, damage claims and payment disputes are matters between you and the contractor.

4. Contractors are not vetted by us

We do not check, verify, endorse or guarantee any contractor's qualifications, licences, certifications, insurance cover, workmanship, safety practices, availability or pricing.

You are responsible for satisfying yourself before allowing anyone to start work. At a minimum, we suggest you:

  • ask to see a current public liability insurance certificate;
  • ask what qualifications the person doing the work holds for that particular task;
  • get the quote in writing, with clean-up, stump and green waste clearly in or out; and
  • compare it against at least one other quote.

5. Information on the site is general only

Everything published here about tree species, soils, storm behaviour, mulching, council processes and tree protection is general information written for the Macarthur district. It is not advice about your tree, your block or your development application.

In particular, nothing on this site is an approval, and nothing on it should be read as confirmation that you do not need one. Tree and vegetation controls, thresholds and fees change, and how they apply depends on the specific tree and property. Confirm your situation directly with Campbelltown City Council. Where this site and Council disagree, Council is correct.

We make no representation that we can obtain, guarantee, influence or accelerate any council approval, consent or permit.

6. Accuracy and availability

We take care to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is error-free, complete or current at any given moment. Content may be changed, corrected or removed without notice.

We also do not warrant that the site will be available without interruption. Hosting, forms and third-party services can fail. If the enquiry form is not working, ring (02) 4601 3387 instead.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to:

  • send false, misleading or fraudulent enquiries, or another person's details without their authority;
  • interfere with the site's operation, security or availability;
  • scrape, harvest or bulk-copy its content by automated means; or
  • do anything unlawful, or anything that infringes another person's rights.

We may decline to act on, or may block, any enquiry we reasonably believe falls into the above.

8. Content and trade marks

The text, page structure, layout and design of this website are owned by the operator or used with permission, and are protected by copyright. You may read and print pages for your own personal use. You may not republish, resell or substantially reproduce the content elsewhere without written permission.

Names of councils, agencies, government bodies and third-party organisations mentioned on this site remain the property of their owners and are referred to for identification purposes only. Mention does not imply affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement in either direction.

We link to third-party sites — Campbelltown City Council, NSW Government and similar — so you can verify official information at its source. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of this website is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, cost or expense — direct or indirect — arising from or connected with:

  • your use of, or inability to use, this website;
  • reliance on any general information published here;
  • the acts, omissions, workmanship, advice, delay or non-attendance of any contractor;
  • any dispute, damage claim or payment issue between you and a contractor; or
  • any council penalty, enforcement action, refusal or approval issue relating to tree work at a property.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law. Where liability can be limited rather than excluded, it is limited to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

11. Referral fees

The operator of this website may receive a fee or other commercial benefit from contractors in connection with enquiries referred to them. This does not increase the price you are quoted, and it does not oblige you to accept any quote or to engage any contractor you are introduced to.

12. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms at any time. The version published on this page is the version that applies, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

14. Contact

This is a service-area business with no public premises. The published phone number is the contact point for anything on this page.
